The New York Standard Watch Company was incorporated in 1885. The company was known for their 18-size quick train open faced movement and pocket watches. The first watches were produced in early 1888. Production continued until 1929 and ended the same year. Not until recently NYSW was acquired and put back into production with Atomic technology. Atomic watches work by using an internal antenna that receives data such as time, date, and other information from the atomic Transmitter. This data is transmitted each second for one minute, and it does this several times each day for ultra-precision operation.
